Tile Trouble!

Nate and Steve were at it early this morning! It is tile day...or is it? The tile we have is beautiful and the pattern is great but the quantity is not what we ordered! About a third of the way through, Nate noticed the difference in the number of tiles per case...looks like we have trouble on our hands! Now off to make it right with the showroom...to be continued!

It's all in the detials...

Lots and lots of trim and moulding have been keeping us busy lately. After measuring, remeasuring, conditioning, staining and sealing them, they are almost ready for install. Flooring is up first though!

 

Hurry up and wait

The counter top folks were out to measure for the template today and now the waiting game begins...the original time frame quoted may no longer be the case. Looks like it could be up to 3 weeks! Yikes! Certainly doesn't help the timeline!

They are here!!!

Folks the cabinets are IN and we LOVE them! It is amazing that in 8 hours the kitchen has gone from a shell to an almost livable, ready-to-move-my-spices in lookin' kitchen! Still a few more drawers, shelves and hardware to go but already they look downright a-maz-ing!

Old kitchen, new life

We have our garage back! I am so excited that the old cabinets have new life in our garage!

Pantry door & staining

The pantry door is in and the staining has begun! This is a preview of the stain for the cabinets...only one more week and the cabinets will be in!!!



Brotherly bonding over hoods & wonderboard

Matt & Beth came up for a few days to help with prepping the floors for tile and hanging the hood! Great progress and great company! Thanks guys!!!!
